Do you pay the whole thing and get some back from Medicare? Or do you pay some and the rest is covered somehow? I want to know how much I'll need in the bank account...

Nelle, you need a referral to see a Pead, so yes i had one
You need to pay to amount in full & then goto medicare to claim it back. I think you end up being $130ish out of pocket.
There is a medicare in Warragul as well & it's a lot less busy than the one in Narre
