Ashton hardly has day sleeps now Mel. That is mainly to me being in and out all bloody day now we have a 2nd car LOL. Tomorrow he will be in the school creche for a while so I know he will be tired and fall asleep when we get in from school, but if he does he will sleep through till 9 or 10pm and then up for a couple of hours I have to start being a mean mummy and waking him up when tea is ready LOL

Maybe not dropping it all together...but he may not need a sleep every day...my DD#2 was 3 in February, she only just has dropped her day sleep (like your son, used to ask to go to bed straight after lunch etc etc). But, in saying that, we do notice some days (usually every 2nd, 3rd day) she is just a darn ole cranky girl, so we make her have a day sleep - like today for example, she had 2 hrs, up again at 330pm, and asking for bed at 630pm.....so you may still have it....just not every day......

How has he been, MR? Did he sleep again at home? Hope so - that 'you' time is so lovely...

Well TBH, I'm not sure if he slept today or not - I forgot to ask MIL when I got home - doh! But he didn't sleep at day care Mon, Tues or Wed, and yesterday he slept in until 9:30 and my ILs took him out during his normal day sleep time so he had no hope of sleeping. He seemed really good when I got home tonight so I'm guessing he did sleep - yay!! I'll have to find out for sure though.

Ok, it turns out he did sleep yesterday. And today we put him down straight after swimming (about 9:45) as we were going out for lunch and he fell asleep straight away. And I had to wake him (and DS1 and DH!) to go to lunch (for MIL's birthday so we couldn't skip it).

So it looks like it's not over yet thank goodness!
