My girls are pretty regular in the fact I can guarantee 1 poo before say 11 and possibly 1 in the arvo but DD1 goes through random periods of doing 5 in a day.

As pp's have said if he's generally well and not complaining I wouldn't worry too much.

My DS has always been several times a day. For the first year or so it was at least 4 times a day, now at nearly 2, it's usually 2 or 3 times. So I would say it's probably nothing to worry about if your LO seems healthy and well otherwise.

    Thanks for replying ladies,
He's recently gone from 2 solids to 3 per day and he's had a little cold which involves a fair bit of mucous, could these have something to do with it? He is his usual happy self, still eating solids and having his normal ff and hasn't lost any weight or anything, poos can be anywhere from *TMI* brown and quite thick to orange and runny but I think that could just depend on what he's eaten, does that sound normal? It doesn't seem to bother him, I.e no upset tummy or anything that I can tell
