    Pram problems

My DS used to love the pram, but recently is impossible to take anywhere in it. He's okay for 5-10 minutes, then starts crying to the point that I have to pick him up. He spends more time out of it than in it. Our pram is a forward facing pram, and I'm wondering whether the problem might be that DS can't see me, cause when he starts getting upset I can calm him temporarily by going around to talk to him. Has anyone else had this problem, and did having a pram facing so bub can see you make a difference?

I had DS facing me until he was getting to the point of needing to see what was going on behindhim/in front of us and practically falling out of the pram in the process. He always loved going in the pram, he is not that keen on it now tho!!
I hope it is just a phase and he gets over it soon.
Have you tried a carrier or sling? That may help?

Hi sterla, we are having the same problem. DD used to love the pram, but now cries almost as soon as I put her in it. I have stopped using it now and use a sling exclusively. Ours is also forward facing...hmmm...maybe I should get one where she can see me.

Don't waste your money on a rear facing pram - we had the same problem and went and bought a rear facing pram but DD hated that too. We now have a pram in the cupboard that has only been used once! I posted a similar thread a few months ago asking for suggestions but nothing really worked. DD just suddenly started liking the pram at about 5 months old which a lot of the replies to my thread reported the same thing at around 5 months.

Sorry Anna you seem to have the reverse problem! Atleast your DD enjoys the sling. Hopefully it's just a stage and both your bubs will start liking the pram soon.

Actually, he has been super clingy recently.
