    Purse Thief

DD has an obsession with purses & wallets at the moment, i have found her a number of times with my purse or DP's wallet and she sits down and pulls ALL the cards out, investigates EVERY pocket etc.

Does anyone else's little one do this?

It's not often they are within her reach and she doesn't try and eat the money out of it, just plays with it.

I am tempted to go and buy her a little kids wallet, put some of my old cards in and some fake money but the fake money is quite small and not at all heavy and i'm worried she MIGHT try and eat it.

DP left my purse on the edge of the couch this morning.. all my cards are on the floor!
DD did however empty my coin compartment and bring me all the silver coins, think she's hiding the gold for herself

Oh and DP the idiot lost his wallet, his first suspect was DD but nope it's not in the house

It's annoying but funny isn't it...

Might check the cheap shops today and put old cards in as a toy for her, mine has press studs.

She has great taste though.. before she was born i spent a bit on a GUESS purse (oh la la) for myself and she LOVES it...

Yes it as annoying but cute!!!!

Mine has prress studs on main part but coin has zip all way round!!

You will probably find that she will still want your purse as its more exciting as its not hers!!

Strandbags often have cheap little purses for $5

DD is the same, we gave her one of my old purses & made fake cards with laminating pouches & cardboard so she has her own cards

DD loves pulling everything out, luckily she is now also learning to put things back in! Just make sure that you check all your cards are back in before you head to the shops. One morning a couple of months back, DD had been in my purse, I thought I'd grabbed everything that she had pulled out, only to get to the ATM, and ooops, no card! Luckily, MIL was with me, as the car was running on empty so needed to get petrol on the way home, and she lent me some money, as well as paying for lunch and coffee!

lol both mine love purses. We gave D one with the old cards etc. SHe still plays with it, but one day she had been playing with mine 9unbeknowns to me) and DH had put everything (so he thought) back in. I go to the shops to use my EFTPOS card - gone.
I thought back - I had last used them at Coles - the stupid women had insisted on holding my card while I typed in the PIN (I hate that) - she must have kept it - only i have tonsillitis and nO voice at all, so I have to wait for DH to come home to ring Coles and ask if they have my card - no they don't, still can't find it - will have to cancel it and get a new one - only I can't talk, and St George won't let DH cancel my card - even though I cannot be heard on the phone - rigmarole after rigmarole - finally gets cancelled.
Cleaning up D's room the next day - she has been playing shops - my EFT and flybuys card are neatly by the cashregister...
Moral of the story is get her her own....

When we were on holidays recently my DS pinched and emptied DF's wallet. We couldn't find his bankcard anywhere....

Later that day I opened up my laptop and there it was - DS had obviously slipped it in and not been able to get it back out!!
