another suggestion is ask nurse/dr not to use the alcohol wipes before needle as a lot of the time this is what causes the pain the skin hasn't dried properly and the injection stings

I also wouldn't give panadol before hand. They don't always need it and I don't like the idea of medicating unnecessarily. It's not going to stop them crying when the jab happens anyway.

I found when Riley was sick once and wouldn't keep panadol down he could keep baby nurofen down so we used that instead.
