Question Really smelly morning wet nappy

The last 3 mornis DS's nappy has stunk....

It's only been wet - he has one nappy overnight ...but it has absoltuely reeked... it's never done this before.

He is a bit snotty at the moment but feeding well....

Any ideas? Is it something to be worried about?

MJ did this on and off for months.
It was also worse when she was teething
Is it really stinky just of wee - really strong or does it have another odour?
If it is a new really offensive smell (not just concentrated urine - which can be exceptionally bad at times) that you have never smelt before AND the same smell is present during the day, then it could be a urinary tract infection

It's a really strong urine smell...nothing else funky that I can detect and it's only overnight.
It is absolutely rank - as in it's the first thing I noticed when I woke up this morning.
He seems happy though - apart from staying up all night and having a blocked nose ...LOL

I wouldnt be concerned then - just hold your nose!!! DH cant change these nappies.
Probably being a bit blocked up has made him a tad dehydrated so the urine is more concentrated atm.
you will find that being sick and teething both make this occur so will go in cycles.

I wouldn't worry. My boys both just have one nappy over night and they are both pretty stinky when they wake up. If i'm a bit lazy and forget to put DS's nappy in the bin his room reeks (not that i leave stinky nappies around his room...but you know what its like)
I think its just all the wees building up over night and the smell becomes really concentrated especially in disposables as i guess they don't 'breathe' so it keeps all the stank in
