    This post is right up my alley.

    You'd want a stroller rather than a pram. Much easier to carry and fold. Also it will need to fully recline so it can be used for a newborn. Most come with a rain cover but it's worth checking.

    Here are my thoughts.....

    Silver Cross - Very nice brand and a bit cheaper than the Mclarens. Cool colours also. Probably a Silver Cross Pop Sport which new are around $269 or a Silver Cross Pop which new is $329
    Mclaren - A Mcclaren Vogue is $399 new.
    Mamas and Papas - A bit hard to find in Australia but their strollers are quite cheap and I love the colours.

    I got bored so I looked online for you and found some newborn-friendly, great-looking strollers Oh, and they're all under $200 on the Big W website - some have free postage for the next week or so.

    i love my city mini (have both single and double) i have used so many prams over the last 7yrs and these are by far the best i have owned
