    Recommendations for stroller

    Hi all,

Am looking to buy a new stroller and am wondering what you would recommend?

DD likes to sit up where the action is and likes to see what's happening. Our current pram is getting quite small and squashy for her. We only do short, day trips, so it won't be to snooze in. She's 13 kg, long and broad shouldered, so I thought one of the Maclaren ones look alright? More shoulder room... So pricey for a stroller though!

    Grateful for any suggestions.

    TIA

maybe have a look at the steelcraft profile or the childcare brand ones, my eldest and middle were able to stay int eh childcare one till they were 4 dd2 still used to get in it till 5 because she would get tired and she is quiet braod in the sholders, I would still get one that lay down if not all the way at least half as you never know when they want to sleep.

I have a Valco Titan and it's great for the taller toddlers. It does have reclining positions JIC you do need them. Quite roomy for width too I find.

We have the Maclaren Quest and it is great! Lots of room to grow, reclines, easy to fold and steer and the resale value is great on ebay if you ever have the heart to get rid of it! Best investment we made! Good luck!

Another vote for the Mclaren - I notice you are in Sydney, we found a baby store in Cabramatta that was around 30% cheaper than most places for the Mclaren Buggy

Steelcraft holiday ($99) Big W. Very roomy will lay back so bub can sleep. I have one for my DD almost 18 months and she just seems to swim in it.

Thanks for your reccs! I now have some models to road test when we go to have a look. TheBear, cheers for the tip re. the Cabramatta store. 30% off is massive for a $450+ stroller!
