Have you successfully stop bub from rolling/sitting in cot
DD 11mths has since about 6mths insisted on sitting/rolling/standing in her cot when I put her down to sleep, the frustrating thing is she doesn't do this for DH. For the past few months I have just let her move about and every few minutes go in an lay her down stroke her a bit and then leave. Eventually (between 15-45mins) she does go to sleep. Given nothing has changed I thought I would this week try a different approach, I am now staying in the room with her stroking her/holding her hips so she can't move. Still it is taking 15-45mins to get her to sleep. She is just so damn determined to move about the cot. I am also concerned with my current method that she is get use to me being in the room that that will affect her sleep if I'm not in the room. She's not a great night sleeper either but just tacking 1 problem at a time, at the moment my biggest frustration is this moving around the cot, so has anyone successfully stopped this movement. People have told me its just a faze but I see no end to this faze given it has been going on for nearly 6mths now.
