Cailin, we did vacuum, made NO difference even with a Kirby 2500watt vacuum which lifts the carpet up... it's REALLY scrunched in... I think he put it under his chair leg and then sat on the chair leg and wiggled...

I'll definitely give the hairdryer a go... *wonders where she left hers...*
