Katierabbit - Olive is 5mths on tuesday and usually sleeps through the night (8-12hrs). She has about 3 sleeps a day and is fed EBm but has suddenly needed to be fed formula top ups as I can't express enough for her ATM and i'm going back to work in 2 weeks so don't want to increase expressing again. I can express about 4-5 125ml feeds per day but some days she requires more then that. We decided last night to give her a couple of teaspoons of rice cereal (she didn't particularly like it) in lieu of extra formula as she is a big baby, over 8.5kgs, is rolling, can hold her head up, can sit fairly well and has a tooth. I also wanted to try her on solids before I go back to work in case she has a bad reaction. Anyway she slept through last night so not sure if she was waking again cause she was just hungry. I know the recommendation is not to start solids before 6mths but I just wanted to see if she was waking due to hunger or rolling. I have noticed after the first night that she wasn't always on her belly when she woke up. I also realise that babies change their routines and that they are unpredictable. Thanks for replying, any advice would be appreciated.
Inertia - There is no way I could swaddle her. She is still wrapped or has a sleeping bag but is very strong and screams if we try to put her arms in a wrap.
