For you all that have been following charlotte's progress:

She came down with gastro on saturday morning whick lasted till yesterday. I went and got Charlotte weighed and she lost 250 grams in the 6 days, so she was back to being 7.030 kg's.
When she woke up this morning, she felt quite warmand she was very cuddlely so i took her temp and she had a temp of 38.1, so she has had some panadol, and she is a bit better, so we are off to the doctors AGAIN this morning.

I just want my little girl back.

Oh poor Charlotte! Good to hear she's better after the panadol though...
I'm sure she'll get her weight back once she's feeling better.

Ella lost 300gms in a week with no sickness at all! (maybe teething but not very badly) but she put on 600gms in a week and is now sleeping better too.

I'm sure you'll get your little one back soon.

Milo has had a few bouts of gastro. My MCHN said its not uncommon for them to lose as much as a kilo depending on how sever it is, and how long it lasts for. Even on a normal weight, if he has just done a poo she said it can make up to 100gm differenceont he scales.

I know its different in your case cos there are previous weight concerns, but just wanted to let you know its not unsual for her to have lost that much, and she's doing well to have not lost more than that.

I hope things go well at the docs today and things start to look up for you soon.

*hugs* its so awful. Matilda's first lot of gastro lasted for 2 weeks on/off. And her temp went up & down with it too. Its very hard to watch & very isolating too!!!
