They seem to go through stages of spewing a bit more.
Nate who never ever chucks (but dribbles enough for 3 children) has days where he just seems to spew on and off.
Some kids are just 'happy chuckers'.
If she's still happy and drinking, I'd say it's just a phase.
Thankyou both! She is still hungry and drinking fine, so maybe it is just an after effect of the Rotavirus. The nurse said she may get a bit of diarrhea, but her poos have been no more runny than normal, she didn't say anything about vomiting though!
I feel a bit better now, hopefully she is feeling better soon. And you know everything always seems better in the morning!! Lol
You could call the nurse hotline in your state for help if you are worried. It's OK to contact the nurses or go to the doctor just because you are worried, and most doctors will be sympathetic about that. They understand about the concerns of new parents.
I'm very amused by the "resorted to using a bib" comment On a normal day we go through about 15 bibs, sometimes more, never less than 10 in a day. That's with 2-4 changes of clothes because of too much spew getting through to her skin. Amazing how different babies can be, isn't it.
