We do a mix, but the walking is becoming much more common for us. I found when she was always in the pram or trolley, the odd time she was down to walk she'd just take off. Freedom perhaps?! Now that I let her walk more often she's much calmer and stays by me. I was really proud today as she walked beside me from one end of the shopping centre to the other and didn't take off once. I do keep a close eye on her and she holds my hand most of the time.

She's also learning that if she doesn't want to be in the pram she can walk alongside but has to hold the safety strap if she wants to keep walking. We have our good days and bad with that one
