Id probably go and just stay for a short while. If its just a cold, i dont normally mind the kids being around it cos, so you could probably say that you cant stay for long cos you are all sick but had to come and say goodbye, no doubt some mums will say dont be silly..its just a cold. I think its important for you all to be able to get the chance to say goodbye.
