SIDS-amber bead warning

There's a hoax one going around facebook, I think? SIDS and kids did issue a warning some years ago, but as others have said, it's about ones that may break into many small pieces where I guess there'd be a choking hazard.

I saw the warning on face book twice yesterday. About a 10 month old losing his/her life to SIDS due to an amber teething necklace.

'A 10 month old baby has just died from SIDS on the NSW central coast &
the coroner has put the cause of death down to amber teething necklaces.
I encourage anyone that has one around their babies necks to take it off ASAP!
Get a bracelet or an anklet.'

My comment on both: 'Not true SIDS. True SIDS has no cause of death. It is recommended that parents take an amber necklace off when a baby is sleeping.

Its called common sence really.
