My ds has done this a few times. I've watched him sit up, sit for a bit then he will eventually lay back down. It's like he's finding a comfy spot again.
Maybe next time watch her and see what she does? She might do the same.
If her head starts rotating 360* while you're watching her tho (think the exorcist), best take her to see a Dr... Or a priest.
On a side note, glad the transition went smoothly (sorta... Well there are no tears so it's a win in my books XD)

. Mum just put me back to bed and I just continued sleeping there. The next day I have no memory of what had happened. I still do it today. DP says so, anyway. Sometimes I get up and get a drink, then have a full-on conversation with him and then go back to sleep. The next day when he wants to "continue" our conversation, I have NO memory of it!
this is a funny thread. Creepy children! I can just imagine you standing outside the door trying to work up the courage to go in. Would freak me right out too!!
