She should love it! DD loves to sit up in the trolley, although the first few times I made sure she was in a good mood and not too tired, a bumpy car park and she still holds on for dear life! What cracks me up is if we're zooming through the shops she doesn't seem to like going backwards, so she turns to face the way we're heading leaning her arm over the back of the seat. She looks like 'hey how you doing' reclining back in the seat lol
You'll have to protect your shopping list too as it will be fair game the whole time![]()
I got a trolley mate from Target for $30. It has a little pocket thingo I used to shove my list in and a ring for a few toys to clip on. it's squishy enough to stop the bars digging in. I was more worried about DD getting a chipped tooth or hurting her mouth from someone hitting us or me bumping into a shelf rather then germs
DD doesn't like the trolley now but I put the trolley mate in her pram so it's a bit cooler in summer and I can whip it out to wash it if she smears stuff
Haha, you know, I didn't even think about the germ factor!! I just thought they were for padding hehe.
Thanks so much for all your input guys. Will let you know how we go!

Sounds like your LO is readyMine were about 5 months and could sit upright without too many spills when I started getting regular trolleys instead of the ones with capsules (are they made for small babies or what?! My two couldn't fit in the capsule past about 3 months of age, they were too big!). I used to keep a 100cm-2 blanket in the car to line the trolley seat for the girls, but I have seen the proper covers at the local baby store so you could always try there if you're after one
