DD1 stayed in her cot until 3 and 1/4 when she moved into a big bed. We had no drama's. Was going to do the same with DD2 but last night she tried to throw herself out head first (and would've succeeded had I not been there). So I need to move her asap and I've found a toddler bed for very cheap at Target. It was planned that she would go into a bunk with DD1 in Jan, so in the meantime I thought a toddler bed would be good (and we could save it for number 3).
Anyway, DD2 is a creature of habit and HATES change. I know it's going to be a struggle. If I say "it's a big girl bed" she will say "but Im a baby"> Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to move her smoothly.
Also she doesn't want to go with the seasons and it is getting really warm here but she INSISTS on wearing her most wintery clothes. Any idea on that?
