Does anyone put a tv on a timer in their kids room before going to sleep???
I will always continue books and routines etc but as i've put in other posts - i'm at a loss now of what else to try.
not a timer but when we were struggling getting Darcy to sleep in Darwin she watched her portable DVD player for a bit. She had headphones so it didn't bother Nate and it only used to take 10minutes and she'd be asleep. Not ideal, but it worked and I'm all for what works.
I have started putting a CD on with stories at bedtime whilst i feed and also whilst patting bub in bed if she wakes when being transferred to bed. The CD plays until the end.
We have only just started so not sure how successful it will be
Sunshine, you poor thing I am totally hearing you. I am a Mummy with bad sleepers too, there are many of us!
Google Sleep and Settle. Natalie is wonderful. She came to visit us when Ewan was little (we lived in Newcastle at the time) and I can highly recommend her. I know she does phone consults as well.
