Sleep, sleep, sleep, sleep and more sleep

All Miss Em does is sleep sleep sleep and sleep!
The other night she slept from 2000-0700 (when i woke her) and than slept all day!
she is a fantastic sleeper! its all she does is sleep, when she isn't having a feed or a bath or nappy change she sleeps!!

    Seriously is this normal?

Miss B NEVER did this, and to this day is still a shocking sleeper!

Should i be worried? or should i relax and enjoy it? is this the calm before the storm maybe?

While im not getting Paige sleeping through yet (she has one wake up) I do know what you mean about other than bath, feed etc shes asleep. Paige is the same. I've only had a couple of times where she's been awake and content for about half an hour.

I would relax and enjoy! Mine both slept for 12 hr nights ( no waking at all) and then started waking at 4 mths! Maybe she will just be a great sleeper! There are some out there!

Jacob was the same for his first 6 months or so, all he did was eat and sleep. Must be a shock after miss B! LOL, just kick back and enjoy it honey, she will "wake up" soon enough!

My DD was a bit the same and to a degree, she still is. My MCHN told me not to tell my other mummy friends it was happening in fear of being stoned and just to be happy I have a good sleeper She said that all babies are different and some need more sleep than others. I wouldn't be too concerned but for peace of mind, you could always go for a checkup if you felt the need.

Hahahaha that is so funny! but hmmm some good advice there!

Hopefully she is just a good sleeper, which wow im just totally speechless! i think i may be able to manage uni this year if she keeps this up! hopefully she isn't leading me into a sense of false security!

However i still may ask the nurse at the chemist about it just to be on the safe side!

If something is wrong what could it be?

    Really enjoy it!

My bub slept through from 6 days old for 11-12 hrs p/night and I had a lot of ppl either accusing me of lying of resenting me cos he slept so well!

Since then he has gone through different times when he hasn't slept so well... From memory, it was around 6 mths, 8 mths and 12 mths. Each time we had a week or so of waking nights but after doing some reading I found that this is quite common and seems to just match particularly large growth periods.

    As I said, enjoy it!

    xx.
