Sleeping Bags??

Hi everyone,

My 11.5 month old has been in sleeping bags from the beginning. She only uses them of a night time. Now that she can roll over and often prefers to sleep on her stomach during the day I'm worried about her rolling over during the night and getting caught or other.

Any ideas or suggestions? Did people who previously used sleeping bags stop using them once they can roll over?

We've used grobags sine DS was 5 months (and could roll by then) he sleeps on his tummy and side, and really is quite active, he rolls all around the cot.

As long as the bag is the right size its should be fine. the only time I've been concerned is right when he goes up a size, there's a lot of fabric at the end (the bags a lot longer than the baby) but its never been a problem.

My DS doesn't roll yet, but just though I'd let you know my cousin still uses one on her DD & she is almost 3!!!

No problems here either. My DDs fav position is on her tummy, she ends up in all sorts of positions and in the morning is sitting up smiling at me, still in her sleeping bag.
