My DS1 started sleeping 8 hours overnight at 6 weeks, I got lucky with him! I did have him on a bit of a routine during the day (feed/play/sleep) which he thrived on and started sleeping through all by himself.

DS2 was about 5 months old when he started sleeping through regularly even though he was on a similar routine to his big brother.
