i wrapped my bubs from the day they were born, both were happy with it until about 8 weeks where they would get frustrated at not being able to move their arms so we stopped then.
I didnt have a sling with DD1 but DD2 went into her sling the day she was born and has always loved it. What kindof sling do u have? if it was a one shoulder type, maybe ur DS didnt like to lie down and would have preffered something like the HAB, CC or ergo where he was upright?

I tried a few slings, but bub wasn't happy in them for very long.

She loves the hug a bub, and i am waiting for the mailman to bring my close carrier!

    I have a HAB & a mini monkey sling.

I think I'll just keep trying him at different times to see if I can get him to warm up to them. It would suck if he doesn't like either!

I wrapped both my girls from the start, DD1 had her arms out after a few weeks but she was still wrapped. It become a signal to them that it was bed time. I used a sling with dd1, but dd2 was never happy in one.

Oh - sorry, when I say 'wrapped' I meant like the HAB. We've swaddled him from the start.

With the HAB, at the start i had to be moving for her to be happy. then she goes to sleep, and i can sit down again!
