Ah I stressed so hard when I found this on my son when he was the same age!

Apparently it's very normal and nothing to worry about!

It was in the exact same spot you described and behind his right ear.

I had it explained that it is most likely a lymph gland - they don't move to down near the jawline til a bit later.

Just mention it at her next check - but please don't stress xxx
