Soft slipper-type shoes?

I mean the leather ones for early walkers - where can I get them? DD needs a bigger pair and can't manage real shoes yet.

Ooh I'm wondering too. DD has never had shoes before, at home socks or nothing are fine but out it'd be cool to have a pair.

I love the shoes from cheeky little soles, I have tried similar ones in the past and they are the ones I go back to, their toddler shoes are great too. All of my girls still wear them. I was so sad when I thought my kids had outgrown them but they have added a size, yay!

Just be careful with their ballet slippers, my kids have wide feet and so they don't fit. They must make them differently as I have never had the problem with any of their other styles.

So DD is almost walking, I reckon 2-3 weeks max and she'll be walking everywhere. So we get toddler/early walker shoes? Not the super soft ones anymore, but ones for toddling around with a soft rubber sole?

My youngest is 11 months and walking and I have her in the soft slipper ones, I have a toddler pair on the way for her but I won't put her in them until she is capable of wearing them properly. My other girls wore the soft soled slippers for 6 months or so but my youngest is quite a capable walker so I have bought her some earlier then I would usually suggest (she most likely won't wear them for a couple of months yet).

Mothercare makes some and some are ok for wider feet. Decathlon shops have domyos and their sneakers are great. Also have great slippers

I always like the Dunlop volleys once they were walking - good flexibility in the sole and coverage from stones etc. We saw a podiatrist too and he said as long as they have coverage and a really bendy sole it didn't matter what they wore or how much they cost! Those little leather ones are cute as though!

BigW Dymples brand have soft soled shoes in bigger sizes. DS2 is still too young for structured shoes so he just wears these. I think he's now a size 4.

ETA: Tanstar reminded me. We also have a pair of Volleys. They are good.

I thought I might add if anyone is looking at the cheeky littles soles brand, they have a clearance page on their page for discontinued designs/seconds where the shoes are up to half price, I have bought these before and have never noticed the reason for being a second and if they are cute I don't care if they are old designs, I am sure my girls don't mind!

yeah, the very soft, almost like socks ones My son could move into those rubbery ones by now, but DD has onlly just started walking and can't do it. I have some hand me down leather ones, but they're getting too small.

What do you reckon about sizing? My DD is 20 months and I put some size 4 shoes on her this morning to get an idea and they seemed to small.

My DDs foot is 12cm and she is in a medium with room to move.

I grabbed a quick measurement as she went past and is about 14cm

Pz we have socks with grippy bits on the bottom for round the house( do she doesn't slip on our wood floors )
For outside we have the soft sole shoes and now she's starting to trot everywhere we got the very soft sneakers.
When looking at shoes bend them and see how easily the move and bend. Some look soft but hardly bend and visa versa
