DD used to be ok with clips but then started taking them out but is getting used to them again, she has one in at the moment, but iof going out then i put it up and it stays in ok, shes been good with the hairbands (i get the snag free ones, pack of 500 from target, there tiny ones), DD1 was the same, they do get better, its just a matter iof time!
DD#1 needed her hair done for Hairlarious Day at school so I put her hair up in several random plaits and ponytails with random coloured hairties and sprayed the lot pink.
Unfortunately DD#2 woke up after DD#1 had already left for school so all she did was get all OCD about the combs and brushes and hairties I'd left on the kitchen table and had to put them all away for me
DD is ok with hats but absolutely refuses to have hair clips or ties in her hair. As a result her hair is cut short because its so thick and out of control otherwise. I ma hoping as she gets older she will change her mind
DD will leave hair clips in if I make a big deal about it. I quickly put it in and then cheer and clap and tell her how pretty it is, and she walks around all proud and goes to show daddy and the dog, LOL. Maybe try that?
I don't think she's being naughty, I think she's just being a toddler
Don't worry our DD won't leave hairbands, clips or headbands in either!! Or hats (for very long!) however she LOVES her sunglasses hehe..... she loves all things pretty but yeah if it's in her hair, she wants it out soon after!! I was lucky once and got a photo with her wearing a piggytail on the top of her head ( oh adorable!!! ) but that didn't last long after the photo was taken! LOL......
I have so many pretty hairclips for her too that I'm hoping she'll wear one day......
I've tried the "oh look how pretty you look, go show Daddy" thing and made a big deal of it but that doesn't work
