MD thats the thing we steam cleaned the carpets about 3 weeks ago! so im thinking a flea bomb may be whats needed. last time we spraied/dusted/vac'd and steamed. so clearly we need to re-steam, maybe even find out if we can do the couches ect too...do you know with the flea bomb if you need to remove things like TV/stero/ speakers ect??

ella - treat all the pets then i guess a first step would be to get the house/carpet spray we bought and spray *everything* first time we did it i went though two bottles (one covers 15 sq meaters lol) and we didnt have an issue untill the last few days.

i think the fact we went away for 3 nights/ 4 days may have triggered it off also, becuase i've read that comming back from a holiday can trigger the flea eggs to crack or something. at least they seem to be going down!
