Haha.. no never!
We've been lucky that my sister has given Jesse alot of toys from her kids, theyre all in brand new condition, but all those fisher price and little people ones. Jesse just loves them. We just leave his toys out in our lounge room (we tidy if someones coming over) and he goes from one to the other and it can keep him amused for hours. I also think its really good to have a few different types of toys to improve their fine and gross motor skills. That way they are always using their brain to touch feel and look (sometimes even taste!), all different things.

But i think it just comes down to how much room you have in your house!
