DS is 4 months old and I'm happy to keep swaddling him, except it's getting hotter and I suspect his sleep is being disrupted because he is too warm. (Could also be the dreaded 4 month sleep regression? I'm not sure!) I've left one arm out for his day sleeps this week. He's a catnapper anyway, but his sleeping is even worse with his arm free, so I don't think he's quite ready to be unwrapped.
Anyway, just wondering how long everyone swaddled their bubs for? What's the "rule" about rolling and safety? DS is in a Woombie, so he can't get his arms out at all, or higher than his chin. He isn't rolling from back to tummy yet (I think he is close), but can roll from tummy to back. I want him to sleep well, but worry about him flipping over and not being able to roll back...
When you did ditch the wrap? Did you go cold turkey or gradually remove it, one arm at a time, etc?
