Sounds like your dd is saying more then mine was at that age! My dd only really started talking at about 2 and its only been the last few months that shes been putting 3 or
4 words together. She repeats pretty much everything I say now and Im like Yay, shes finally at that sponge brain stage everyong talks about where thay just repeat everything!!
I know what you mean about playgroup though, its hard not to compare your child with the others. But we just have to remember they all develop at their own pace
