Just thought I'd update in case anyone else was thinking of trying it.

We had our first class today and DD just loved it. She got right into it straight away, the teacher is lovely and the kids in the group are really good kids too. Both DH and I went with her and we all just grinned from ear to ear. Fastest 40 minutes ever!

I was just thinking of how you were going the other day. Our Term has started up again and we're back into it also. Glad you all like it

Anyone here still doing Mini Maestros? I'm thinking of putting Amelia in a group, and I'm pretty happy finding this thread full of praise How much does it cost? I know it'd be better if I out her in the actual class with other kids, but if we can't afford it could it work with me buying their CDs and a couple of instruments?

We love it Teni. DD loves it. We're coming up to 12 months now. She hangs out for "school" during the week.

Prices are around $16 per class, but you pay for a full term. We are in the Saturday class for DD's age group, and there is a waiting list.

The CDs are good, but they are just kids songs. The only connection DD has to them when she listens to it at home is because she's heard it in class and knows the actions. She was 2 when we started, so were put into the 2-3 year old class. Now we're in 3-4 year olds and there is a lot more theory taught which is interesting.
