I think a flexible sole is really important, and no shoes unless they really need them! . Good luck I would just look around for soft flexible soles that look cute too
Agree! You don't want anything rigid, or anything too moulded that is going to try to "shape" their feet. eg: lift the arch or anything like that. I go for ones that are really soft and the sole is really only to keep their feet clean when out and about and protect from *****les or little rocks etc ...Oh and it's great fun trying to get them on the first few goes
