    I love Lucas's pawpaw - works great
I second this suggestion. Paw paw ointment is awesome!

I loved the pawpaw until I found out it wasn't as natural as I thought - apparently petroleum based. I was very upset that I had unknowingly been using it! Need to hunt down some pure pawpaw ointment for the next bub.

A lot of people have success with MooGoo creams? Poor little one!

Yeah I know Tried different natural creams and barrier creams (Gaia and Moogoo) but they just weren't working. I figure a bit of petroleum jelly for a few days is better than these horrible bleeding welts.

There is another paw paw ointment that isn't in petroleum jelly.. think it starts with W? ETA: There's one called natural alternative, with no parabens etc in it. Hard to allow a few days delivery on these things tho when the little one has such a sore bum

ETA: We tried anti fungal cream as well... did nothing so obviously wasn't thrush.

Thanks for the name of that one Liz - will make sure I stock up before no. 2 arrives. Love online shopping but hate the waiting!

I can't remember the name of it but there is one that is petroleum free in black packaging. Some pharmacies do carry it. It always worked a treat for DD's nappy rash (although she hasn't had horrible red, bleeding welts since the days of BM poo).

AngelPants - It's available at Novo pharmacy at TTP (the one opposite Target), if you haven't tried it already.
