    Tetra Snuggle Bed

So, just wondering if anyone has used or have any pro's con's re the Tetra Snuggle Bed
I did not use it for my first child, but was thinking it might be a good thing to put the baby in in the big cot rather than straight into the cot.

Would love to hear anyone's thoughts or recommendations on other products for this purpose.

(Reading this back, it sounds a bit like a pregnant ramble, so I hope it makes sense!!!)

We are still using the snuggle bed with our 9 month old! She loves it, it makes her feel secure esp when we stopped wrapping her and moved her from the bassinette.
At first I was worried about it but we have it in the cot with the sound and movement monitor and its great.
If you get one get an extra cover!

I bought one, but only used it once or twice. I thought the sides were too close to DD's face, and I didn't think the cover fitted snugly enough. My SIL has one and loves it though. She uses it as a little bed in the loungeroom/kitchen for when bub takes day naps (she likes having bub with her all the time).

Yep we have one and use it every day. He has most of his sleeps in it - loves it! Definitely get an extra cover. It's a pita to clean though - you have to spot clean it but it can't be saturated and if your baby spews...well

I've used one for both my kids. You can buy another brand called babyhood from babies galore that do a version of the tetra one and i find it excellent and about $30 cheaper. I have it in the cot for night time.It fits on the couch so i can have my son sleeping there while i'm doing stuff around the house and can take it away if we go out too. You can fit a bassinet size sheet and sheet protector in it too just in case you have a spewer. Definatly the con is its a bit of a pain to take apart to wash. But can be done and as long as you have a sheet and protector on it doesnt need doing to often at all.
My last son's one went through 7 babies with people borrowing it and now they all swear by it.. You can get them hardly used on ebay sometimes as well.
