Miss.B. The padding! That's what makes it so awful! All the bits get caught in the seams in the bottom of the chair. Gosh it's amazing what you can scrape out of there. Even when you think it's perfectly clean, out pops one of yesterdays lentils!!!
For me it's the repetitive speech about not climbing. All 4 of my kids are climbers. You go to the loo, come out and BAM they're on the kitchen bench/computer desk/wall unit etc. Two days ago DS climbed onto the bench, up onto the fridge, from there to the pantry (6ft tall mind you) and then went to jump to the other cupboard (there's a chest freezer between these but still, a big fall). I nearly had a heart attack and they just don't get it's dangerous
I have a repetitive speech of my own at the moment RB - about how it is not acceptable to "forget" to pull the plug out of one's bath. I've explained to her that it's better she gets into the habit now, as once DS is mobile if he falls into her full bathtub, he could drown. But she still forgets, and what's worse, forgets and lies about it
My other "ugh, do I have to?" is emptying DS's nappy bin.
