The Thing I Like Doing Least.....

.......is cleaning out the remnants of my DS's highchair. I just simply don't like this job - I can do all the other things in a day no problem but cleaning out smashed pumpkin, bit's of corn, hardened pieces of weetbix and all other manner of various food items is just. not. fun.

What daily task (or multiple times a day task) do you do, with regards to your kids, that you just wish the fairies would come in and do for you?

Bum wiping for dd on the loo.

It's always required when I'm in the shower, or feeding ds, or just now, when I was cleaning up a smashed glass on the ground.

Dress DS. He is a nightmare - sooks endlessly even if he has chosen his own clothes!

PS - Sounds like you need an Ikea chair - they can be hosed down!

Say "No" - I seem to be saying it about a million times a day to my 2 year old right now

Yes that me too!!! only times 2....I know I should be grateful for no nappies, but I can wait until no-one is doing anything urgent to go to the loo....I wish they could too.

I used to vacuum the high chair every couple of days. Much easier.

    Least favorite job...
Brushing DS hair. He gets this massive clump of knots on the back of his head. Even with olive oil in it, it's a nightmare. A screaming, wriggling, crying, nightmare.

Then, other days it is completely fine, he happily sits there and lets me do it and it takes 2 minutes.

The worst part is not knowing how he's going to react on any given day. :/

wiping DD2 face, she is feral and grotty so I just let it go most the time unless mum is coming over or DH is on his way home because its a battle .every.time. Does my head in warm flannel or cold, gentle or fast and furious it doesn't matter she kicks, screams and has even tried bitting me
