Hairwashing. Not gross, but such a drama.

Dress DS. He is a nightmare - sooks endlessly even if he has chosen his own clothes!

PS - Sounds like you need an Ikea chair - they can be hosed down!

Say "No" - I seem to be saying it about a million times a day to my 2 year old right now

DS isn't bad enough for an Ikea chair.....yet, but he is only 8 months old. LOL. It's the first thing that I'm 'over' doing but from the other posts I can see that there will be many, many more 'over' times as he gets older.

Yep, cleaning the chair. I bought one of those padded ones, and everyone was telling me to get the ikea one. Go figure! I should listen to what the good people tell me

Miss.B. The padding! That's what makes it so awful! All the bits get caught in the seams in the bottom of the chair. Gosh it's amazing what you can scrape out of there. Even when you think it's perfectly clean, out pops one of yesterdays lentils!!!

Getting from front door to car (or stroller which is usually in car or garage) with DD and DS - it is down a flight of steps then prob 100m either through the communal gardens or along the roads. DS easy enough but he is heavy my shoulders are not great at moment so has to go in carrier even for this short trip, DD just is the queen of dawdling and I can't drag her down the stairs so have to try and think of ways to tempt her down, then if it has been wet she wants to 'rescue' every snail she sees (e.g. pick them up and put them on a plant), pick up fairies (dandelion flowers), stick her head in holes, run round in circles etc. All fine activities but just not what I want when trying to get somewhere and is worse now have to carry DS. I try to avoid the car and get the stroller at bottom of stairs whenever possible but do have to use the car several times a week - and sometimes twice a day (never more I can't cope with more)

So please someone invent a teleporter so I can teleport us into the car - or let me win the lottery so can buy a house or flat with distance between front door and car much reduced.
