Have a 26 month old ATM, her routine hasnt changed though from 18months.

    GETS UP: 7-8am
    DAY SLEEP: 2-330pm
    NIGHT TIME SLEEP: 7pm

If we're out and about, or if we've had a lazy day, she sometimes goes without a sleep (rarely) - like yesterday - so we put her in at 630pm at night.she slept thru till 8am this morning....

I have a very lazy almost 24 mths old.

Gets up - 8.30am (on a non work day)
    Day sleep - 3-4 hrs
    Bedtime - 6.30-7pm

She really loves a sleep and I certainly don't mind her loving it either LOL!!!

Like mbear, if we are out and she misses a day sleep she will certainly catch up on her night sleep sleeping an extra couple of hours esp on weekends.

T gets up any time from 6:30 - usually between 6:30 and 7 but sometimes as late as 9. He goes down about 6pm, a bit later on day-care days. He ususally sleeps for 12 - 14 hours at night, and if at home will sleep for between 3 and 4 1/2 hours, usually going down around 11am, sometimes earlier. At day care he only sleeps for up to 2 1/2 hours and boy is he tired when I pick him up. The other day he missed his day sleep as we were out then went down around 2:30pm and we had to wake him at 6:30 the next morning for day care!!

But mind you J never slept for anywhere near that long at that age, so they are all different.

    I have a 23 month old.

-get up in the morning usually around 6.30am - 7.00am. There's the odd day where he might sleep past 7am. Maybe once every fortnight.

-got down for a sleep and how long Has recently dropped a regular 1.5 hr day nap. Will sleep every day for at least 1/2 hour in my arms while BFing, usually while I watch the ABC midday news. When I go to put him down he has recently been waking up. Today i got him to stay asleep by lying down with him in my bed. I got up and he stayed there for his usual 1.5 hours sleep. I think this might be the way to go now.

-go to bed at night! Really varies. Anytime between 8pm and 9.30pm. Has recently started to drift off by himself after having a small bottle in his bed after a BF from me. Otherwise DH is really good at boring him to sleep telling stories while he lays in his cot and listens LOL

I have a 20 month old. Generally get up at 7am on the dot!

Has a day sleep from about 12pm to 2:30/3ish.

    Goes to bed at 8pm.

Often I have to wake him from the day sleep as if he goes longer than that we won't go to bed at night.

OMG there are some lucky lucky mums out there.

DS (19 months) wakes up approx 6.30am.

Has nap at 10.30-11.00am for exactly 2 hours. Can set your watch by it.

Goes to bed at night about 9.30-9.45pm. Wakes up at 4.30am and comes into bed with me and DH for the rest of the night.

This routine is killing me and DH so we are currently trying to cut out DS' day sleep. When he doesn't have a nap he goes to bed beautifully at about 6.30pm. Sometimes he will need a 30 minute power nap to get him through till 6.30pm but if we do this he actually gets a bit MORE sleep in total and DH and I actually get some down time.

DS has always been one of those babies that needs less sleep than average.

Oh yeah I forgot to add that DS often wakes up at 4am and comes into co-sleep with us... I didn't mention it because the nursery is just across our foyer (about 15 steps from bed to cot) and when I bring him into our bed he BFs for about 2 minutes then we both go straight back to sleep. I often wonder what people do who don't co-sleep. We've done this with all 3 of our children. We don't lose much sleep. DH often never even wakes.

I find when we 'do' sometihng in the morning, she will almost always have a good day sleep i.e some physical activity..... Letting her run outside for a while, play on the swings, have a jump on the trampoline, etc exhausts the lil one (and me )...by 1pm she is well and truly zonked.
