i love seeing DH & Jack looking at each other and Jack either smiling or having a 'talk' with dad...
or
Jack waking up giving the BIGGEST smile...then laying there talking away..happily...
great idea for a thread hollye!
On Thursday night I said to DH im going to have a shower if im not done by 8pm can u give DS his custard he said yep no probs, anyway at 10 past 8 i walk in lounge room, DH and DS still where i left them on the recliner i was about to get a bit grumpy then i looked over at them, they were both sound alseep and dribbling! Very cute instantly made me smile and my heart melt
I have a photo of DP & DD(2yrs old at the time) ... both laying on their fronts next to each other sprawled out on the bed with bottoms up fast asleep on a Sunday arvo ... It was a true Father like Daughter moment ... and i just had to take a photo
I have 2 just recent ones.
DS had his orientation day last Tuesday for preschool. I was watching from a far when a little boy came up to him and tried to take a crayon off him. He said here you go, gave him the crayon and grabbed a piece of paper and gave it to the little boy and said heres some paper, you draw mummy and daddy. I just thought how sweet that was and was so proud of him.
Then he started preschool last thursday. Im told he had a great day. When i got there he saw me and said mummy mummy, all excited and then held my hand and gave me a big hug. He then said bye preschool and blew kisses. Its just the little things like that that make you so proud and feel so lucky.
