Sometimes the best thing is for the other person to try something completely different to what you do what(especially if it is breastfeeding since that is basically impossible to replicate lol) so they don't think of it as inferior to mum but a whole new separate thing. Id also try removing yourself completely, say go for a walk around the block while they attempt.

Mine are both feed to sleepers but became rockable by others without tears which was important to me. Once I was not there they became very receptive to alternatives although I stayed close while we initially tried just in case lol.

Will you be getting whoever looks after her some EBM to give her? If so they could feed her to sleep. You'd be surprised how well they adjust to someone else putting them to sleep when you are to there. Might take longer the first time but will get easier. Could have a trial run where you say goodbye and go and sit in the car for a bit? Then can return to replan if its not working.

My mum put my DS2 to sleep a few times with minimal distress (to all concerned) I also fed to sleep and was the only person who did the sleep routine. She offered water in a sippy cup and just rocked/cuddled until he fell asleep. He seemed to understand that I wasn't available iykwim.
