Matilda's sleeps at care are always different at home & she wound up in a bed heaps earlier there. (well a mat on the ground...) but she sleeps around 2-3 hours at care where I sometimes don't get her to sleep at all. So.. maybe its just she wants to be out where the action is and sleeps better there...
Having said that, the centre should be talking about this with you & saying why they would do something different than you told them too. I would ask the group leader of the room why and why weren't you informed before the change was made. Its important that they understand that this is something you want to know about before they do something different. With Matilda, she was climbing out of the portacot at her family day care so the carer rang me to ask if I minded if she tried a mat on the floor.
