my mother made two meals every night
......ahhh, Chloe, I think I have realised the reason for my Mothers reaction.......!

She make "tea" for me and my little brother for about 5.30, then dinner for my elder brothers and sisters at about 7.30pm, and then dinner for her and my Dad at about 9pm. (He always worked v.late). Thinking about it, she was always kind of a martyr to this type of arrangement, and I think she is now taking it out of me LOL!!
