    Toddler pillows or normal pillow?

I'm not sure if they have special sleeping pillows for kids? I've bought a normal adult one as he is moving to a big boy bed very soon but now am thinking maybe there was a kid pillow? Thanks

DD (22months) has slept in her cot with a cot pillow that she was given along with a cot doona but when she goes to her big girl bed after Christmas she'll be using a normal pillow.

My DD uses a baby/toddler pillow we bought from Big W in the baby section. We will probably get her a normal sized one when she moves into a toddler bed.

My DD is one day older than bjrose's DS. DD has used a normal size pillow since she was 17 months and moved into her big bed.

i bought a soft and flat junior pillow from Big W, its bigger than a toddler pillow but alot softer and flatter than say a pillow we would use. My ds will be 2 next week and we only just got him a pillow, he loves it

I got DS a "junior pillow" from Target. It's the same length and width as a regular pillow (ie fits a regular pillowcase) but thinner and more floppy, ideal for tummy sleepers.

I checked with DS' osteopath (he has a scoliosis in his neck). She said little kids tend to sleep with their head and shoulders on a pillow so a regular pillow (that's not too high) is fine. I've tried him with both and he prefers the junior pillow.

Thanks so much ladies!! I bought a pillow that is fairly low when pushed down, so it should be fine. If he seems to not like it I'll look for a junior pillow. Gee I love getting all this advice on here
