There are thick sleeping suits at Best & Less, can't remember the brand of them, but they are polar fleece & really thick - that's all Pip sleeps in. Else there's very funky warm suits at places like Kathmandu which are merlino thermals, they are also good.

    Good luck!!!!

My only answer is do what we did - move to the tropics. Not much help, am I?

DS won't abide by anything covering him while he sleeps. But at the moment it's so hot he just sleeps in a nappy and nothing else, and is perfectly happy. In winter we get as far as tracky pants and a long sleeved t-shirt, and that's about it.

But when we were in Melbourne last year it was a nightmare, because he was icy cold but wouldn't let me cover him up. So I can sympathise with you there. His father is exactly the same, throws off the covers even in winter, then complains of the cold.

We live in the frozen wastes. I tell DS tough, he needs his blankets on and tightly tucked in. I don't like being cold so he won't kick them off then get me out of bed to say he's cold. He got used to it.

I also close his bedroom window at night to keep him warmer. He prefers to have most of his chest out of the covers so I have to do something.

We live where it gets pretty cold and DD was fine in a bodysuit/singlet, pyjamas and then the suit over the top. I was lucky though she's an amazon child and the first size I bought her was a 2 (before she was 1). I always buy hr 2 sizes up now - just so I can get the length, but at least they're roomy.

Neither of mine sleep under blankets for some reason. DD (nearly 3) sleeps in a pair of cotton long sleeved and long legged pants under a sleepsuit and DS (8months) sleeps in a bonds onesie and will have a sleepsuit over it for winter. They both seem warm. Apart from that sorry but no suggestions. Good luck!

We used to do a long sleeved bodysuit, socks, wondersuit & then a polar fleece suit over top!
