    just a thought... what kind of toilet paper do you use?? only asking cause my 5 yr old neice cant use anything patterened or scented without getting a rash on her girly bits...

    I hope you can figure it out for her... rashes suck heaps!!

    I better check that out, its cottonelle ones, not sure if they have scent. Might have to get her completely plain paper and might start using some caneston in case it is thrush.

    Daktozin (or is it Desitin) is an anti-fungal nappy cream, just over the counter.

    Re laundry powder - the rest of his body is usually fine, it's just his little bottom that gets irritated (I've tested him with various detergents and the eczema stays away except when I use Drive or Omo and there has been no other variant...I suppose the undies are tighter and closer to his skin than shorts and t-shirt IYKWIM).

    My thought was the washing powder, too...my daughter was fine for 4 or 5 years with BioZet, then all of a sudden started getting a reaction to it and wound up with a rash - strangely no where else on her body, tho, unless it was a warm day and very occasionally it would affect her armpits too. Good luck with it!
