Too cold?

To check if bub is too hot or cold i was advised to feel the back of their neck and/or back. That will give the best indicator of their body temp.

Did she feel cold when you went in? If she feels warm on her neck/back then she is.

Don;t go be the feet or hands though as they can feel cool, but the body is warm iykwim.

I was told to feel their chest, I just stick a couple of fingers underneath the top of her clothes. it should feel comfortably warm (but not too hot). if she feels cool then she probably is a bit cold. As Junglemum said dont worry if her hands/feet or head feel cool, the best indication is her body not the extremities.

Yep, I go by the body too, chest or back.

I couldn't help being envious when I read your post...it was so hot here last night, DD was sweating when I checked her & we had the fan as high as it would go
