Saffi/Kellie When I first took the cot rails off I slept on the floor in Max's room to make sure he didn't get out. Easy though as I wasn't preggo then! He really is a pretty good kid so just explaining to him that he is not to get out of his bed in the middle of the night, but to call Mummy if he needs anything worked for us.

I guess it was kind of an easy transition for us because Max HATED his cot and would sleep better on the spare bed, that was the only reason I got him out of it.
