    Question Trouble Breathing/Raspy Sound

Hi! My DS is 14 months old and he's had a slight cough (mostly at night) for about two weeks now. He's also gone off his food, has very bad diaahorea (sp?) and has been extremely clingy/sooky over the last 10 days. This morning he's woken up with a very raspy sound when he breathes and it seems to be a little hard for him to breath plus he has a heavy/chesty cough this morning. Should I be worried? Being a Saturday there aren't many doctors that are open and it's not even 7 am yet anyway...

If I had such a bad cough & raspy breathing I'd just put up with it but I don't know what to do about my little man...

    Any ideas?? Thanks in advance!

Personally I'd go to the hospital. They'll proly take you right in so you won't have to wait too long and its better to be safe than sorry. I hope he's alright.

    Hi Christie

He's still got his horrible cough but the doctor said that it is most likely the end of a virual infection because his chest is all clear etc. He hasn't had any more weezey breathing so that's good, he must have just been really clogged up yesterday morning.

    Thanks for asking!
